Course Goals
Gain confidence in AC work despite the difficult reputation. Build a strong foundation in the refrigerant cycle, system components, pressure diagnostics, and diagnosis process. Develop intuition for how AC systems work and how to troubleshoot them.
🔄
Understand the Cycle

Build the refrigerant cycle in a relatable way. Understand sensible vs. latent heat, why dry refrigerant matters what oil does, how coolers and variable orifices work.

🛠️
Use the Tools

Effortful practice on gauge sets, recovery machines, vacuum pumps, and charging equipment. Every tech leaves having completed a full R&R.

📊
Read Gauge Patterns

Diagnose good, low, overcharged, and airflow-restricted systems from gauge readings and duct temperatures. Recognize cycling patterns.

Break the System into Parts

Isolate electrical, air flow, and refrigerant issues to identify the root cause of problems.
